MAISON de MODE/ Ethical Pop-up Recap
We’re all about being green. So when our friend and former collaborator Amanda Hearst called and invited us toMaison de Mode, we were in! Maison de Mode is a series of ethical fashion pop-ups. The New York store opened earlier this month at The Hole NYC gallery. Created as a partnership between Harper’s Bazaar Editor and Activist Amanda Hearst and New York Designer Hassan Pierre, their concept proves that ethical fashion isn’t frumpy or bland.
Labels such as Organic by John Patrick, Stella McCartney, Lulu Frost and, of course, Soludos were represented at the event, promoting organically grown, recycled and sustainably harvested fabrics. Who says you can’t rock the latest trends and save the Earth at the same time?
